With 11 peer-reviewed publications and recognition for her research, Dr. DiStefano is passionate about empowering patients to achieve sustainable pain relief and improve their quality of life. Her multicultural background and fluency in multiple languages enhance her compassionate and culturally sensitive approach to medicine. Outside work, she enjoys paddle-boarding, running, and baking healthy desserts.

Dr. Robert E. Jacobson is a distinguished neurological surgeon with over 35 years of experience, specializing in spine surgery, brain tumors, and stereotactic radiosurgery using CyberKnife and Gamma Knife technologies. Trained at renowned institutions like Mount Sinai Hospital and the University of Miami, he completed advanced fellowships in spine and microvascular surgery in the Netherlands and Switzerland.

A pioneer in spinal imaging and surgical techniques, Dr. Jacobson developed percutaneous lumbar approaches and spinal instrumentation systems, holding several U.S. patents. He has lectured globally and serves at leading medical centers, including the CyberKnife Center of Miami and Mercy Hospital.

David M. Joyce

Dr. David M. Joyce is a board-certified physician specializing in pain medicine, neuromusculoskeletal medicine, and family medicine with osteopathic manipulative treatment. He completed advanced fellowship training in interventional spine and pain medicine at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, FL, and continues to expand his expertise under Dr. Robert E. Jacobson.
